Biography - Johannes Holik

Johannes Holik was born in Vienna (22.11.1961) and grew up in Klosterneuburg near Vienna. At the age of 6 years he began to study the violin and had music with his parents and sisters, who are used to play music.

At this time, Johannes Holik began to compose his first pieces for his family. After the primary school Johannes Holik joined the secondary school in Klosterneuburg, made his matriculation at the age of 17 and studied economy at the high school in Vienna - he became master in 1985.At this time the young composer was educated in playing piano and harmonics and began to work as music manager.Since his first attempts at the age of 6 Johannes Holik, who is reputed as a self-tought composer, has written more than 200 compositions for all musician fields (without opera) which became more and more popular during the last years.
